Ivory Rubber Dam
Ivory rubber dam is manufactured from natural latex and undergoes a special washing step during the manufacturing process to reduce surface proteins.
The rubber dam has extremely high tear strength, reducing waste from tearing during application. It is thin and pliable, allowing easy placement in especially difficult areas.
The use of rubber dam during restorative therapy and endodontic treatment has proved to make the treatment more successful. Rubber dam ensures a dry and clean working field which is needed for long-term accomplished adhesive restorations.
During endodontic procedures rubber dam prevents endodontic failures caused by colonisation of saliva bacteria in the root canal.
Ivory Rubber Dam achieves complete moisture control in the treatment area due to its well-known properties:
- thin, comfortably pliable sheets are powder-free
- 100 % latex with no additional fillers
- extremely high tensile strength*
- expansion up to 10 times from original punch hole*
- prevents irritation and damage of soft tissues
- stronger contrast with black rubber dam
- latex-free option in case of sensitization
