With a jaw width of 0.6 mm, this micro needle holder is the finest instrument in this series. This fine working end allows working with seam thicknesses from 7-0 to 8-0. This makes this model very suitable for periodontal surgery. The built-in ratchet allows the needle holder to be fixed in its position when closed. This gives the needle a good hold in the mouth, which is reinforced by the diamond-coated jaw parts.
The straight shape allows the needle to be gripped on the same side without turning the needle holder. The “pivot-curved” closure prevents tearing or snagging of suture material during the sewing process or when knotting the suture material.
